Welcome to the KITTY BENGAL cattery. We are a small size family of Bengal cats based in sunny south of France, in Montpellier. Our breeder Véronique Sauvaget is registered. However, the cattery remains small and all the cats live inside the house, with the human family. We take genetics and breeding seriously and are always in favour of exchanging with Bengal lovers or breeders. In France, full breed cats are not common (people are just not used to paying much for a kitten!) and we need to perform a lot of publicity and marketing to be able to sell our cats in good conditions. The Bengal cat breed is not very known yet but it’s getting very fast as this breed gets a lot of interest and sympathy right now. We think it is important that we participates to cat-shows and interact with everyone. We think French breeders do need to interact with themselves but also with foreign cat breeders. The Bengal cats in France still need to improve their standard with new genetic lines and with better selection from the breeders. Therefore we are careful to make good contact with foreign breeders and we are in the process of buying new blood lines to improve our little family. We
