Welcome
to the KITTY BENGAL cattery. We are a small family of Bengal cats
based in the sunny south of France, in a town called Montpellier.
Our breeder, Véronique Sauvaget, is registered. However, the cattery remains small and all the cats live inside the house, with the human family. We take genetics and breeding seriously and are always in favour of contact with Bengal lovers or breeders. In France, full breed cats are not common (people are just not used to paying much for a kitten!) and we need lots of publicity and marketing to be able to sell our cats profitably. The Bengal cat breed is not very well known yet but it's progressing very rapidly as it's generating a lot of interest at the moment. We think it is important that we participate in cat shows and interact with everyone. We think French breeders need to interact with both French and foreign cat breeders. Bengal cats in France still need to improve their standard with new genetic lines and with better selection by the breeders. Therefore we make a lot of effort to work with foreign breeders and we are in the process of buying new blood lines to improve our little family.
